Infrastructure Repair and Smart Replacement

Throughout the history of civilization science and engineering has provided opportunities that leaders have either seized or set aside. The actions of these leaders may be wise or self-serving. This site has as its purpose the provision of opportunities related to repair and replacement of the infrastructure. Here the term infrastructure is used in its broadest sense to include roads, bridges, tunnels, harbors, rail systems, water and fuel distribution systems, waste sewage systems, power production and distribution, public transportation systems, etc. The principle aspects considered are assessment of the present condition, repair strategies and revolutionary planning and design of new or replacement infrastructure systems.
